Entry Guidelines

• Open to all SoyCon attendees and staff.
• Entries can submit any costume from any series.
• Each entry can submit up to 3 costumes.
• Each entry can submit up to 3 photos for each costume.
• Landscape (Horizontal) photos only. We will not accept portrait (Vertical) shots.
• If chosen, only one costume and one photo will be featured in the calendar. Entries can only appear on the calendar once.
• Solo shots only, duet or group pictures will not be allowed.
• No photoshopped photos. That includes special effects, borders, logos, etc. (Unless it's revelant to the character.)
• We are okay with photos that are touched up, colorized, or cleaned.
• Please submit non watermarked versions of your photos.
• All photos must be clear and crisp. No blurred photos or ones taken from a mobile device.
• We are looking for photoshoot quality photos. No bedroom shots, backyard pictures, or anything alike.
• We recommend avoiding any submissions that may contain trademarked content or business logos in the background unless it's part of the costume.
• All photos and costumes must be under PG content. Any offensive photos will be ignored.

Prize

• Chosen winners will be featured in our first SoyCon calendar for 2013.
• Each featured cosplayer will earn a free copy of the calendar. (Can be picked up during SoyCon.)
• Entry's photographer will also earn a free copy of the calendar. Only one free copy per photographer.
• If you and/or your photographer cannot pickup a copy, feel free to contact the email soyconcontest@live.com. We will gladly arrange with you on how we can deliever your calendar.

Selecting Winners

• 14 Cosplayers Will Be Featured
• 1 Cosplayer for each month, plus 1 Cosplayer On Front Cover and 1 Cosplayer On Back Cover
• Judging will begin on June 1st - June 15th.
• Winners will be announced on June 16th.

Size & Specifications Requirements

• All photos must be in JPEG or TIFF format.
• Final formatted photos must fit and will be printed on 11" x 8.5" page.
• Quality must be at least 300dpi and greater than 4.0 megapixels. (We do accept higher quality.)

Submission

• Open for submissions will begin on February 1st, 2012.
• Final submissions are due on May 31st, 2012 @ 11:59:59pm.
• E-mail your submissions to soyconcontest@live.com. We will notify you for any questions or concerns.
• Make sure you have the following information below:
  • Cosplayer Name (or Alias)
  • City & State (Location of Photo Was Taken)
  • Character's Name & Series
  • Photographer's Name (or Alias)
• We will send you a confirmation e-mail confirming your submission. If you do not get a confirmation e-mail within a week, feel free to contact at either soyconcontest@live.com or soycon@soycon.com.
