• Summary
  • The operations team are the helpers and security for the entire event. They make sure all events run smoothly, make sure there's no trouble, and keep the area a safe and clean enviroment for the attendees.
• Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have experience socializing with others.
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire event.
  • Able to show energy, be enthusiastic and encouraging.
  • Willing to lend a hand when needed.
  • Have good communication and interaction skills with others.
  • Good at being prompt and having good organization skills.
  • Enjoying yourself while keeping up with work.
• Description
  • Oversee the safety and care towards attendees.
  • Making sure the event is running smoothly and no problems occur throughout the day.
  • Assist setup and breakdown at SoyCon's grove.
  • Maintain a clean enviroment around the area.
  • Able to communicate well with attendees.
  • Prop, armor and weapon checks.
  • Able to handle any possible problematic situations with minimal issues.
  • Inform attendees of any announcements made throughout the event.
  • Help running some events.
  • Maintaining any lost and found items during the event.
  • Organize any lines for registration or events.
  • Taking shifts between being at operation base and the event area.
  • Have a good understanding on the basic rules and guidelines.

• Summary
  • The registration team assist attendees to register for SoyCon and it's events throughout the weekend. They encourage attendees to sign up for events as well as informing the happenings throughout the day.
• Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Description
  • Maintain paperwork for event and attendee registration.
  • Speak to attendees if they're interested signing up for any events.
  • Direct attendees where to go for event check-ins.
  • Keep track of attendees on their location if they signed up for an event.
  • Keep registration process in a orderly manner.
  • Inform attendees on registration and event registration.
  • Have a good understanding on the basic rules and guidelines

• Summary
  • The media team does photo and video coverage throughout the weekend. They setup photoshoots and as well as recording different events.
• Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have experience socializing with others.
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire event.
  • Able to show energy, be enthusiastic and encouraging.
  • Willing to lend a hand when needed.
  • Have good communication and interaction skills with others.
  • Good at being prompt and having good organization skills.
  • Enjoying yourself while keeping up with work.
  • Must have either an HD camcorder and/or DSLR camera.
• Description
  • Photograph or videograph all happenings during SoyCon.
  • Must be open to ask or be asked for any photos and videos.
  • Choose wisely on shots, weed out any "bad" looking shots.
  • High demand shooting on scheduled events.
  • Must be able to submit footage upon request for SoyCon's sites or YouTube page. (Will give credit)
  • Optional: Able to make any project works. Music videos, documentaries, & video blogs are fine. (Would create a good image for the event.)

• Summary
  • The medical team covers the first aid during the entire event. They make sure everyone is kept healthy as well as making sure there isn't any major emergecy incidents throughout the weekend.
• Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have certification in any medical field. (If you have questions about this, contact our SoyCon medic head.) [Will provide contact email soon.]
  • Must have proof of certification ready one week before SoyCon weekend.
  • Able to show proof of certification on location and must have it at all times.
  • Must be able to be cool and collective during emergency situations.
  • Have experience socializing with others.
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire event.
  • Able to show energy, be enthusiastic and encouraging.
  • Willing to lend a hand when needed.
  • Have good communication and interaction skills with others.
  • Good at being prompt and having good organization skills.
  • Enjoying yourself while keeping up with work.
• Description
  • Able to assist anyone for all medical needs.
  • Must have a good knowledge of first aid kits.
  • Taking care of attendees when in need of assistance.
  • Able to check on attendees throughout the weekend.
  • Keep track of documents for attendees with special needs.

• Summary
  • The judges mainly judge most events throughout the weekend. Each judge will be able to make sure each event is judged accurately and fairly.
• Description
  • We are looking for judges who can make good calls and keep an eye on what they feel would be deserving to win during events.
  • Must have a full understanding of the event and their rules and guidelines.
  • Keep track of entrants and make sure all of them are present for the event.
  • Be able to explain kindly to anyone that is a participant.
  • Optional to be an MC if want to do a double duty.
  • Should be able to judge fairly on any event judged.
  • Paperwork is involved. Possible score cards marked and handled orderly.
  • We welcome anyone with experience from any previous events from SoyCon or any other type of judging from other sources.
